Summer means shredded… right? Yes, that’s probably the message you’re getting from social media about sunny weather. Let’s face it: It’s great to have lofty fitness goals. But we think the most exciting thing about this time of year is all the possibilities for fun and physical activity under the sun. This is the perfect opportunity to relax, get outside and be active in the best weather of the year, whether it’s at the park, beach, pool, court, or even your own garden. Workouts that were previously limited to indoor fitness spaces, garages, and basement gyms become even more effective during the season’s more favorable temperatures.

But you may feel pressured to do more than just have fun. If you think about your body more than any other time of the year outside of resolution season in January, you’re not alone. It can be difficult to combat the endless stream of beach body debates and body-flaunting videos.
