The beauty and accessories brand has become something of a calling card for savvy haircare enthusiasts, appearing as a hairstyling muse for everyone from Hailey Bieber to Laufey to Harry Styles. “I have always been drawn to hair products, especially growing up buying them at Korean markets with my mother and grandmother,” says Julian Goldmark, founder and chief brand officer of the Bazzy line. “There was something really special about those spaces: colorful brushes, unique clips, and tools that felt both practical and beautiful.” Seventeen years after launching the brand (well, back when Goldmark was just 14 years old), that inspiration remains at the heart of Emi Jay’s DNA. ”[They’re] “Simple, practical essentials that enhance your daily life without overcomplicating or cluttering your life,” she added.

I don’t (I have at least three in my arsenal), Goldmark has expanded its empire to include hair care formulas, reinventing classic products like styling creams, hair oils, and hair mists with a playful Emi Jay touch. Of course, you should ask Goldmark which category they want to elevate next. “I think there’s still a lot of potential in everyday styling products, especially dry shampoo and other styling products,” she replies. “Many of them can feel overly complicated or not designed with how people actually move through the day.” What’s trending in accessories? Goldmark says he will try hair scarves. “It’s so easy to wear and to add something to your look, especially when it’s hot,” she shares. Is anyone releasing an Emi-J version soon?
